Goal: To enlarge and transfer a design to a wall.

Procedure

1. Select an appropriate drawing or design for the site
2. Paint base coat on wall
3. Transfer design to wall, either using grid system to scale or an actual size drawing
4. Paint over pencil drawing lines with black or dark brown paint using narrow brush (this preserves the drawing until color is finished)
5. Fill in colors either between the lines or painting out the outline depending on your desired effect
6. As you fill in, color shading may be added if desired
7. A coat of graffitti preventor or clear medium helps preserve the mural's freshness

• use acryllic or house paint
• use new rollers and brushes for clear coat
